GATE Result 2018 - IIT Guwahati has announced the GATE 2018 result on March 16 for all the 23 papers. GATE result 2018 is available in online only. The result of GATE 2018 has been announced for all candidates who have appeared in the exam. To check and download the GATE 2018 result, the candidates will have to log in through GOAPS (GATE Online Application Process System). They can however download their GATE 2018 score card if they have qualified in the exam. It is important to note that the score cards will be issued to only those candidates who have secured marks equal to or above the qualifying marks as per their category. The scores secured by the candidates is available in the GATE result 2018.
Qualified candidates can download the score card of GATE 2018 from March 20 to May 31, 2018. After that, the score card will be available for download for a fee of Rs. 500 till December 31, 2017. The GATE marks of the candidates will be calculated out of 100 and will be normalized as per the guidelines given by the GATE authorities to arrive at the GATE score which is out of 1000. GATE result 2018 will be valid only for 3 years from the day of its announcement. The published GATE 2018 result and score card can be used for M.Tech admissions as well as the recruitment process of PSUs like ONGC, BHEL, GAIL, SAIL.
